About Alexander C. Roseborough

Alexander C. Roseborough is President and Founder of Fathers, Families In Transition., also referred to as FFIT.  FFIT is a not-for profit organization founded in November 2000.  FFIT’s mission is to provide education, awareness, information, referrals, and support services to custodial and non-custodial fathers.

This organization and its mission have become part of Alex’s ministering to men and women who face obstacles to better standards of living and healthy behavior. 

Prior to FFIT, Mr. Roseborough founded and is still President of A T Roseborough & Associates, a counseling and consulting business firm specializing in improving the quality of life for mankind in many areas, some paralleling with those of FFIT. In addition, Mr. Roseborough managed a transitional housing program for persons with HIV/AIDS who were recovering from substance abuse.  He has hosted several cable TV shows featuring guests in specialized fields of life enhancement.  He has written several articles on family matters and performs motivational speaking.

Alex serves as an associated member of Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP); Illinois Fatherhood Initiative (IFI); Illinois Council for Problem Gambling, Westside Minister’s Coalition, and has been commissioned to be on the Illinois Council on Responsible Fatherhood.  He is involved in several other community, civic, cultural and philanthropic organizations and activities as well as being Chairman of his Church’s Deaconate Board.
